How do I know if I need to visit a dentist?
Preventive treatment is key to good oral health. Going in regularly, usually twice a year, is beneficially in catching problems when they are small and not waiting till something is hurting.

Todays dental x-rays are digital and as a result the radiation exposure for a check up is about equivalent to the amount of radiation you may get flying cross country. Having current x-rays is the standard of care.
